Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over

There is a rise in drunk driving deaths during the Christmas and New Year holiday periods. Because of this, the campaign “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” was created and takes place during December. This campaign aims to educate people on the dangers and consequences of driving drunk or drugged.

For those celebrating and drinking during the holidays, plan ahead by designating a sober driver who can take you or others home safely.

Additional safety tips to ensure a safe and responsible night include:

  • Do not drink or partake in drug use prior to driving
  • Do not let someone who has been drinking get behind the wheel
  • Call 911 if you see a drunk driver on the road
  • And always wear a seatbelt

The holidays are a great time of year, but safety is just as important as having fun. Be responsible and be safe this holiday season, not only for yourself but for everyone around you, on and off the roads.
