WHMIS 2015

WHMIS is a comprehensive system for providing health and safety information on hazardous products that are used, stored, and handled in Canadian workplaces.

Who Needs this Training?
Workers who handle or work with hazardous chemicals must be trained in the protection and dangers of using hazardous chemicals. This training program must be in accordance with the requirements of WHMIS 2015 and must include specific information on the hazards and how to stay safe.

Dangers of Remaining Uncertified:
All employees who use or are exposed to the hazards presented by chemicals must receive training associated with hazardous chemicals. If training is not administered or other safety measures are not taken, injuries and possible fatal situations may occur.

Course Layout:
Course format consists of video instruction, intermediate quizzes and Final Knowledge Check.

Course Duration:
A minimum of 40 minutes is required to complete this course.

Recertification:
OSHA requires annual recertification for workers where occupational exposure takes place.

A completion certificate is available for printing immediately upon successfully finishing the course.
