Who Needs this Training?
Workers who handle or work near abrasive blasting must be trained in the protection and dangers of using abrasive blasting. This training program must comply with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.94 and include specific information on the hazards and how to stay safe.
Dangers of Remaining Uncertified:
All employees who use or are exposed to the hazards presented by abrasive blasting must receive training associated with compressed gas. If training is not administered or other safety measures are not taken, injuries and possible fatal situations may occur.
