We use this day to remember, reflect, honor, and mourn those who have lost their lives in the tragedy that took place on 9/11 at the World Trade Center, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon. We also use this day to thank the amazing heroes who risked their lives to save others. The 9/11 terrorist attack killed 2,977 people and injured thousands. There were nearly 10,000 first responders at the World Trade Center. Take a moment of silence today to remember those we have lost on September 11, 2001.
